The purpose of this project was to unite the region by developing trans-border methods and guidelines regarding how children, young people, educational personnel, architects and industry-wide associations can work together to improve school environment. By developing new ways of working and new methods, this project will help to support the various curricula. The project compiled research and empirical evidence from all three countries, in order to produce new, systematic ways of working with improved school environments. These methods were tested and evaluated at 12 pre-schools and schools all over the Kattegat/Skagerrak region, as well as spread to other schools and pre-schools in programme area.

Project partners include parties from Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The City of Göteborg is the lead partner, and Undervisningsbygg Oslo KF is the Norwegian project owner.
