Development of the nursing staffs’ competences is the main object for this project. The project is located to Region Zealand and Regions Skåne, the two regions which form a part of the Øresund Region.
The purpose is to develop new it-technologies (E-health learning), to implement these technologies and to test the effect in relation to maintaining the functional abilities in patients after hip surgery. The E-health learning concept gathers all relevant information for nursing staff, patients and their relatives. The information is based on evidence (clinical guidelines) and provides patients and staff with the necessary information for a successful treatment and rehabilitation. The staffs’ competences are increased and reformed of involving the staff in the development of clinical guidelines. These guidelines will be implemented in the daily routines and hereby increase the quality of the health care activities provided. Developing and implementing standardized guidelines on both sides of Øresund will enhance the possibility for free movement of the workforce, ensure the patients the same quality of care independent of where in the regions they have their homes.
The resources in the health care systems from both regions will be able to use the newest knowledge based on newest technology for future activities.
